when you start listening to a good song and can't switch songs because you don't want to stop listening to the current one. This may also apply to a whole band.

'Now' Songs are songs that have been recently released and are popular among lots of people. This term can also refer to songs that you are enjoying listening to at a certain point in time, no matter how old or new. Conversely, 'Now' Songs can apply to songs or music that are relevant to a certain occasion. For example, 'Now' Songs for a funeral would be sad and sombre, and for a dance party would be fun and upbeat
"Man that party was rad last night! They were playing all the Now Songs!"
"My Now Songs at the moment are anything Trance and Hardstyle!"
"That funeral was a great way to remember her life. The Now Songs were perfectly chosen for the occasion."

Used by males to justify the single song they truly like, however, is a song that is typically listened by females. You may only have one.
Tim: Cool, "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kelly Clarkson is on!
Steve: What the hell?
Tim: Fuck off. It's my fag song.
