nerd hag

An alleged female on the internet who intentionally posts pictures of her scantily clad self, types sexual innuendo on message boards, and otherwise openly flaunts the fact that yes, she is a female, on the internet. All this is done to gain popularity on forums and to attract attention.

The nerd hag often uses more than her fair share of smiley faces.

nerdbait

v. To make a false reference in a nerd context, with the expectation that nerds will object to the error and discuss ad infinitum. A specific form of pulling someone's chain.

n. False information purposely told, to cause nerds to react and correct.
1) Did you hear about Colbert's mistake? He claimed Angband was Morgoth's first fortress.
Dude, he was nerdbaiting.

2) That guy's too young to have played Zork at Stanford. He'd be in his forties. Zork was done by the mid-eighties.
I think the writers are seeing how many people they can nerdbait.

theatre nerd

A theatre nerd is a person who is highly invested in musicals, sometimes to the extent that it’s an addiction. Theatre nerds are usually in all of the drama-related clubs at their school.
You may be a theatre nerd if you have any of the following symptoms:
• You sing showtunes Non-Stop
• You understood the reference above
• Tap dancing is not an uncommon occurrence for you
• You have overdramatic reactions to everything
• You will change in front of anyone
Alexander Hamilton was not just a Founding Father to you
• Anything anyone says can trigger a song getting stuck in your head
• You unconsciously switch accents while talking

Theatre nerds are part of a a big, cozy community of people who are probably a bit too affectionate with each other at times, quote Shakespeare regularly, are very, VERY loud, and sometimes act like a cult.
Example 1
Kid 1: Look at those kids over there singing. What the heck are they doing?
Kid 2: Oh, those are just the theatre nerds. Don’t mind them.

Example 2
Kid 1: Omg have you heard the OBC recording of Be More Chill?
Kid 2: Yes, it’s so great! I need to see that!
Kid 1: Ahhh bring me with you!
Kid 2: I totally will! Wow we are huge theatre nerds.

nerd

A nerd is basically a person who has a higher understanding of things than most regular people.Do not confuse them with dorks or geeks. Nowadays everyone believes that they must be the same as everyone else to be accepted.Nerds are able to oversee this and become successful in life unlike the jocks, skaters, or cool kids. Nerds are the same as everyone else and are not superior to anyone but thanks to the mainstream people believe that nerds are social rejects. A nerd has a 8 out of 10 chance of becoming successful while the jock has a 2 out 10 chance of being successful.
Bill Gates - One of the richest men in the world and biggest nerds
Steve Jobs - One of the founders of Apple or in other words the dude who made the iPod your listening to right now.
Will Wright - Video Game designer of popular games like the sims and spore.
