Rejection

Some females try to apply something they said to everyone from a group. Not every female is like you, not every female faces rejection, and that doesnt make their life any easier. The same is true of males, not every male faces rejection. You're really talking about yourself and your own life, so what's the point in pretending to speak for a bunch of other people by saying all males or all females. It robs them of their personhood, since everybody is not the same.

The girl thought her own pain from rejection was harder than anything anybody else went through, and that's what she was really trying to say. Her tattoos were a statement that she was somehow tougher than other people, without really being any of what she claimed to be, she could just show people her tattoos and nobody would mess with her, that was her mentality.

Rejection

Getting rejected is not the most painful thing that can happen to somebody.

Getting sawed in half while hanging by your feet seems more painful than rejection. Hell is an overused word to describe things that are not really that bad when you think of how a guy's day is going when a saw is slowly cutting through his intestines and colon.
