Get the Quonster mug.An old English word contextually thought to mean something like “Complain”, Quoan is an amalgam of the words “Questionable” and “Groan”. It’s currently attributed to Shakespeare, as it’s found in two of Shakespeare’s Sonnets.
From Sonnet 212:

As a re-purposed literary word, it has been adapted to the social media age with helpful, non-standard forms coined:

Quondaming: The act of dumping a partner.
