A term originally used to describe the thinking logic of The Dudley Boyz, now used to describe when a solution that would be seen as dumb by some is used.
Putting some duct tape over the hole makes sense...somewhat.

The sense that you are get used to the atmosphere by underground transportation especially for the subway. When you get the underground sense, you may feel confused about directions and voices and uncomfortable with the sunlight, etc.
Every time I need a little while to shake off my underground sense before I come to the right exit in the subway station in Shanghai.

The felt sense is your consciousness sensing whether your surrounding are comfortably in situ. When you walk into a room and see a table, fork, or chair out of alignment, your felt sense picks up on that and you feel less at ease, whether it be consciously or subconsciously.
I walked into that restaurant and my felt sense was totally thrown off. Everything was so disorganized!
