1) Someone who is overweight by quite a bit, but dresses in clothing inappropriate to their size. Can be used for either sex.

boertjie

Usually an Afrikaans speaking obese guy from South Africa or Namibia. Claims to be very religious but hates everyone that isn't white and Afrikaans. His Land Cruiser and Toyota Hilux is the two pillars of his life that keeps everything together. Uses the phrase, "women belong in the kitchen" a lot.

Boertjies think they are though and strong and usually pretends to be a farmer, but drives a 2x4 Hilux around the city and their pants are too tight.

A traditional boertjie outfit consists of: Vellies, leg warmers to keep the ticks away when they are shopping, a Boerboel short that is way to tight, any graphic T-Shirt and an oversized K-Way jacket.

Jenna: "Look at Johan, he drives a 2x4 Toyota and his pants are a few sizes to small."
