It can also involve interrupting the christian while she or he is talking. The term is a combination of the words "atheist" and "explaining".
The atheist did a great deal of athesplaining on his social media account when Christians worldwide were offended by the depiction of “The Lord’s Supper” during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

That's why I prefer the term Atheosity: the state of being an atheist. An atheist is someone who does not believe in any gods, or rejects or denies the existence of any gods, or the supernatural.
