emo kids

Kids who have a lot of emotion. They don't necessarily cut or try to kill themselves. Some of them just write a lot of poetry to deal with the crappy hand life has dealt them. I am an emo kid, and I don't appreciate all the anti-emo crap. We're not all stupid cutters. we don't all want to die. Some of us just have a hard time. I write songs and poetry to express the feelings I have. So for all of you who hate emo kids, take a step back and think about what you mean. We aren't all stupid, so don't trash us before you get to know us.

Those emo kids are really good at writing poetry.

emo glasses

A type of black-framed glasses often worn by emo enthusiasts and lesbians. Also occasionally seen worn by guys who are trying way too hard to look smarter than they actually are.

Emo glasses can be seen frequently in non-chain coffee shops in college towns.

emo girls

Pseudo-intelligent idiots who dress and act a certain way in attempt to fit into the "emo" subculture. That's all they are -- they're not original, they're not sophisticated, they're shallow little teenage shitbags who want sex from like-minded emo shitbags.

I'm into photography, I took many of the first pictures that were put up on this website. I don't take pictures of myself in a mirror and post them under "emo" and "scene".

I play the guitar too, and I can say that 99% of all emo songs consist of power chords and simple pentatonic solos played in the same key. They don't have any real emotion, just gaudy over-fermented lyrics. Real emotion = Steve Vai or Jeff Beck.

Example: The emo girl read this definition, it angered her, and she gave it a thumbs down.

emo pinata

A person or persons with dyed greasy looking black hair who wear skinny jeans and Ramones T-shirts despite the fact that they are not even old enough to remember the '80's. Said such persons are also known to listen to groups as A.F.I., and whine about how life is so hard despite the fact that mommy and daddy buy them everything when they want it, thus causing the rest of the working, none brain cell impaired world to want to beat them with a baseball bat pinata style until they see blood.

Johnny's tight black pants and greasy hair make him look like an emo pinata.
