Post-Scary

Used to describe a movie of the horror genre that isn't scary until you leave the theater. Thinking about it when you are lying in bed or home alone at night brings fear and anticipation.

Victim in bed: That wasn't a scary movie.... Monster looked like shit.
*Bump in the night*
Victim in bed: Okay... it was Post-Scary. I'm gonna die....

scary bird

A person in the LOSB* private members club. *League of Scary Birds. This is an internet-based club, it's the biggest group of TRUE friends in the world, where just about anything goes on any topic from serious to trivial. Ribald humour is de rigeur. A Scary Bird can be male or female.

I was talking on the phone to X, she's a fellow Scary Bird. We're arranging drinks but we'll have to hire a private room, you know how raucous and loud it gets when Scary Birds get together.
