For best results, sneak up on the shower squirrel and plunge your hand without looking, scoop up the offending hair in your clutched fingers and deposit quickly into the awaiting toilet. Make sure to close the lid immediately. Shower squirrels can be resilient little buggers. Flush. Latex gloves are optional.

Literally means "boy love." Slash with an emphasis on "awwww . . . cute!" Not to be confused with yaoi, which is graphic male/male porn. Shonen ai is generally fluffy and not particularly explicit.

I read the most adorable shonen ai Harry Potter fanfiction the other day . . . It was Lupin/Sirius, set in their school days. They were playing wizard chess and wound up kissing. Lupin is so cute when he blushes!

Irish colloquial expression for a group of people that you find incredibly annoying to be around. Generally people you know and dread meeting. But the term has broad applications in life.

The awful prefix can be changed for terrible, woeful, despicable, or my personal favourite, insufferable.
