They are attention-seekers, generally annoying, and absolutely self-centered. They always try to make themselves stand out and always think that they're not like the other people in their own community/group. They can also be very manipulative by being self-deprecating for the attention of the other party, basically guilt-tripping for attention/approval.
Sarah : "Hi! We're partners, right? So, like, what's your name- Oh, my gosh! I'm so awkward with girls. I'm so sorry, I'm like one of the boys because I don't interact with girls".
