When you introduce something to someone and get them interested in it, and then take credit for their new interest or behavior.

Dude 1: "Dude, ever since you played that song Dynamite in the car, I've been super into BTS and Girl's Generation."
Dude 2: "I put you on kpop!"

Dude 1: "Ever since I saw you do it, I really like toasting my bread separately when reheating my leftover sandwich. I do it all the time now, it tastes so much better."

Don't Let The Door Hit You On The Way Out

A metaphor for: "I think you should leave. Do not pause or delay while you are leaving." Generally used when the addressed has been complaining about circumstances that the listener doesn't agree with. It comes from a time when doors were on spring hinges and if you paused in the doorway while exiting, the door would spring closed behind you and hit you on the backside.

"This place stinks. I am too qualified to be here."

"Well, don't let the door hit you on the way out."

What are you on?

Used when someone does/plans/talks about something a bit crazy. A lengthened version would be "What drug are you taking, to be high enough to do that". "What are you on" is usually followed up with "Do you want a list?" even if that person is not under the influence of drugs. N.B Used in Britain, less in America

Friend 1 : "I'm gonna jump off that cliff"
Friend 2 : "What are you on?"
Friend 1 : "Do you want a list?"
