Giant robot. Refers to humanoid types seen mostly in animé (Japanese cartoons) and Japanese games (i.e. Armored Core). Mechs/mecha can be anywhere from 30 to a few hundred feet tall and are usually pioleted by people. They can be used for many things, like constuction for example, but more often warfare.

The mech picked up the car and threw it at the V.I.P.

stupid mechanic

A moron that works on cars that does not have the mental capacity to properly diagnose any electrical problem if their scan tool does not give them the answer. This person typically says the problem is a loose wire, something is grounded out or shorted out, or blame aftermarket electronics for the problem without any real evidence.

The stupid mechanic said that my window won't go up because of a loose wire behind my radio.

Mecham Button

Euphemism for a cat's asshole, named after former Arizona governor Evan Mecham (1924-2008). Mecham achieved notoriety when he rescinded the MLK holiday in Arizona, claiming that Martin Luther King Jr. was not of sufficient stature to deserve a holiday; he was ultimately impeached for obstruction of justice after serving one year in office. A popular joke during the campaign asked, "why do cats lick their assholes? They're polishing their Mecham Buttons."
