marman

marman (verb): to accidentally land your sporting good implement into an undesirable place, so as to make it stuck. Sometimes, but not always, resulting in the maiming or destruction of the implement, which should not be construed as a manufacturing defect

1) Land Kiteboarding: Darn, did you see that guy marman his kite into the tree? Now it's completely stuck in the branches. He should have pulled left to turn left.

2) Golf: Darn, I don't think I can make this shot. I'll probably marman my ball into the sandpit.

3) Biking: The car got too close to me and forced me off the road. I had to swerve and marman my bike into the fence.

Marmaduke

1. A terrible comic, shown in many major newspapers. Has been known to ruin one's day just from a glance.

2. Anything that ruins a specific activity just from reading it.

Example 1:

Person #1 "I see you read todays Marmaduke"

Person #2 " how can you tell?"

Person #1 " you look rather depressed"

Example 2:

Every time I read her tweets it annoys me so much I close my twitter. She is such a Marmaduke

Marmots

Collective noun: in the army the Marmots are the platoon equivalent of the "boy named sue." Marmots travel in packs and are often seen prowling, as that is their usual mode of transportation, they can prowl by foot, car, bike, boat, tank or any other means of transport.

A single marmot is the most fierce and deadly fighting machine in the united states military.

One would be terribly mistaken to underestimate a marmot, one cannot possibly overestimate the Marmots.

Did you see those Marmots?!?! I swear there was something between us and them.
There was, but that won't stop a Marmot on the prowl.
