Light is a Electromagnetic wave.
Lights as an adjective is the opposite of heavy. Which is easy to (push, Pull, Hold, Throw, Etc.)

c (light-speed)

c, or the speed of light, is the speed of which photons travel in a vacuum, A.K.A. the fastest speed in the universe.
To travel at/exceed this speed would result in breaking the fabric of space-time.
c = 299,792,458 meters per second = 671,000,000 miles per hour

The new spaceship, Exr-C2 can travel at 0.6 * c (light-speed), or 60% of the speed of light.

Keurig blue light special

A phenomena that occurs 2 times a day: morning and afternoon. When crawling to the coffee machine in a desperate need of caffeine, popping in the Keurig coffee pod, watching with anticipation the machine warming up, and to your horror the bright blue light pops on, thus signaling the realization the asshole who last used it didn’t refill the water container.

Joanie shuffled into the kitchen at 6am to get her much needed cup of coffee, and waited the requisite 45 seconds while the Keurig machine warmed up. Then the dreaded blue light appeared. In middle class society, Joanie was afflicted with what has become known as the Keurig blue light special.

stalker light

A public light source like a street light or floodlights that turn off as you walk by them, instead of turning on like they are supposed to.

Drunk chick: "Hey I'm going home."
Helpful friend: "Make sure to take Main Street because there's that stalker light in the quad."

Lass-lighting

A phenomenon where a self righteous partner uses the latest popular buzz words to discredit their partner and discourage any form of disagreement with them as it will make them a gaslighter, manipulator, etc. In short, just another way partners can tell everyone how they’re such great partners, and that the other person is magically always the problem.

My girlfriend has been sending me articles about “how to stop gaslighting”, I can’t even disagree with what she says anymore because shes always Lass-lighting me and running off to bad mouth me to her friends.

Out Like A Light

"Out Like A Light" is phrase used to expressed someone's state of sleep; usually exasperatingly tired and in complete deep sleep. It compares an individuals state to a light bulb going out and running its course for light display. If a lightbulb burns out, you can no longer use it. The phrase "Out Like A Light" exaggerates an individual or group's sleeping state through the comparison of a light bulb.

"Damn. They are out like a light, they didn't even hear the fireworks outside."
