Get the Hard Coffeemug. Science fiction rooted in the current understanding of science in general. “Hard Scifi” doesn’t include concepts that break our understanding of physics such as FTL travel, or synthetic gravity.

Get the hard scifimug. Building a fire was hard to the girl, she had always had to try hard at life and common sense, she said. She always felt like she had to give over one hundred percent at everything (and that everyone else did also), especially sports (but none of this came from any authority figure or family member actually instilling this idea in her at a young age). She also thought she had to make everyone else's life difficult in the process. She always made it look like she didn't know what the fuck she was doing, and expected everyone else to be the same way, thinking of it as honesty (and expecting credit for honesty). How can anybody like someone who doesn't know what the fuck they are doing?

Get the Eggplant Hardmug. Tyler’s throwing a fit now because he lost his Call of Duty match for the 4th time in a row. He’s such a try-hard. It’s just a video game!

Get the Try-Hardmug. A word to skirt around 2 very different slurs, one being racist that every other definition in UD will explain, & the other being "Retard," because it starts with an R & "Tard" is also a slur.
There has been no study on the divide between the use; Generational, regional, financial, or racial, outside of the fact that the use for r3t@rd is very common outside of the USA but still used in the states. Both groups up until 2023 seem to have been completely unaware of the alternative use for the term, due to cultural or social differences & a lack of communication between cliques.

It wasn't until the Linus Tech Tips podcast that people learned there were two uses for the Hard R, & neither of them were good.
