Highland Park people are people who live in highland park and go to the Highland Park High School. They think they are better than everyone else because they have a lot of money. What they don’t know is that people from other schools are actually richer then them but it just doesn’t seem like it because private school costs tons of money. If you go to this school you mist likely vape and drink alcohol, if not then ur considered not cool. They always dress really inappropriately and act like they run the world. They also claim to be very smart..... but they are very wrong. The other schools around them are learning material for people 3 years older than them, while HP people are learning at their own level. They are also very mean and consist of a lot of bully’s. They don’t know how to be nice.

Many people from SC, FLA and GA have second homes here. The golf, fishing, and scenery are awesome here but there is no nightlife, no music scene and not even a movie theatre. Also very few residents stay year round in this suitcase community.

As someone who grew up there and graduated HPHS a Cross-country star + Drill team Belle (B/C being an HP Cheerleader = slut) I can honestly say that everything the "haters" say is true, EXCEPT: Everyone IS supremely educated. Even the "airhead" Moms are SUPREMELY educated. The Dads of HP wouldn't marry anything less. (This isn't FRISCO for heaven's sake.) Parents. Students. Everyone is VERY educated and MOST know better than to act "out-of-sorts" or against their bloodline, but alcohol and ABSENT parenting is a real problem and it causes even the most educated to act VERY low-brow. If they don't get chartered off to rehab by Senior year, they usually end up throwing the best parties, bc again, their parents are never around...so.
