A term used to describe a musical experience that is straightforward, honest, and unpretentious. Simply sounds music often features stripped-down instrumentation, raw vocals, and lyrics that are relatable and easy to understand. The emphasis is on creating an emotional connection with the listener rather than impressing them with technical skill or flashy production.
Luke: "Have you heard the new album from that indie band?"
Garry: "No, not yet. How is it?"
Luke: "It's great! They've really embraced a simply sounds approach, with simple, heartfelt songs that really hit home."

Having a sound moral character regardless of race, gender, or religion. A person with a sound core knows the intrinsic truths that govern humanity.

When people misspell words because they don't know how to pronounce it, and they end up spelling it the way that they say it. Sounding a word out when reading can help to pronounce a difficult word that the reader comes across. However, spelling a word the way you think it sounds often leads to mistakes. A lot of people in the South do this.
