Julie-itis 

A mental disease effecting parents, manifested a strong need to control their child's life, from college to personal relationships to money. Parents with Julie-itis are incapable of gracefully letting their adult children finish growing up, and are prone to ranting about how rebellious and wrong their child is anytime they do not fall in line with their idea for what the child's life should look like.

Person #1: Why is that Mom gossiping with twenty year old girls about how awful her son is?
Person #2: Dude, she so has Julie-itis.

Boy: My Mom's Julie-itis is getting worse. Now she's refusing to give me toothpaste just because I want to leave the house.
Girl: Wow...does she want your teeth to fall out?

Edward-itis 

N: A disease of the mind where the victim suffers feelings and emotions very similar to the ones Edward Cullen experiences while dating Bella Swan. Symptoms are: Being absolutely convinced you like the other person more than they could possibly like you, Being jealous of people you usually think of as beneath you, constantly being concerned over the safety of your lover, and having a desire to drive them everywhere in your shiny silver car.

Steve was wracked with emotions he had never felt before while dating Tiffany. He couldn't focus on anything else because he was so jealous of others around her and concerned that she could never fully return the enormous emotion he felt for her. He was suffering Edward-itis.

noun 1. A sickness developed within alanon groups, and it's members. It is manifested in the least intelligent and least logical members of the group. Common everyday assholes become alcoholics and addicts to the member with alanon-itis.

ALANON-ITIS

Julie: Mary, honey. He's an addict. I can tell. Jimmy did that once, and, I'll bet without a doubt, he was buying liquor, and was in a hurry to get home and drink it. That's why he cut you off!!

Marge: What did he look like? My 16 yr old son, Barry,
Group: ya, O,yeah What about him, yea Marge
Marge: Ya, Barry has been smoking and someone is buying them for him. If I could catch the guy I'd go straight to the cops.
