One of two very difficult situations.

If I stay up all night to study, I'll be too tired to take the test, but if I go to bed early I won't know enough to pass. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

jeff tells lisa he likes her. pretends to. while also telling his ex gf maggie he likes her. then chooses maggie over lisa. while lisa had no idea he liked two girls. therefore she was getting played.

dark place

Used to describe an acute exaggerated feeling of anxiety, angst, or distress. Often, but not exclusively, used by pretentious people who want to act as though they are going through a deep emotion ordeal.

Karen: "Omg you guys, I was in such a dark place after I John broke up with me. All I could do was watch Netflix and post pictures to Insta for the next 24 hours."

Can also be used as a compliment for a particularly good comment or as an admit to defeat after being owned.

Placebo

An awesome band with a true english pixie(allright, a half american half scottish brit with an adorable figure that most girls would die for) who is the hottest guy alive after Ville Valo. Next comes the Bassist, who Placebo fans have come to know as Stef, who makes a great couple with Brian(The lead singer) Stef looks mysterious and sexy but is homosexual so good news for the gays bad news for the girls. And finally theres Steve who is the only straight memmember of the band so he misses out on all the gay fun, but non the less we all love him and Placebo would not exsist without him. ~satanas dixit~

One great kick ass band that will always rock.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't

Either way you are in a mess and big trouble. You just aren't doing to well.

When my wife walked out because I wouldn't help her becuase I thought what she was doing was wrong. She gave me the choice to change my mind and follow her, if I really loved her, or sit at home and never see her again. I was really stuck between a rock and a hard place.
