Sympathy

Something you don't have for somebody you never met before. You don't care about somebody you never met, because you don't even like somebody you never met.

You have to have met somebody at least once to even know if you like them, let alone feel any other way about them. You don't feel sympathy for a guy you don't even know, and if you say you do, no matter what you tell everyone else, there is no deceiving yourself about the matter, no matter how desperately you try. George Floyd's trial has become people that never even met the guy pretending to feel things nobody would feel for somebody they never met, if they were honest with themselves.

What would happen if the lawyers were sorry for Derek Chauvin instead of George Floyd? Would they be told you can't do that?

A stranger, or acquaintance that preys upon others for their sympathy, without regard to their familiarity with the person.

Kyle is such a sympathy rapist. He just walks up to people he doesn't know, and starts telling them about his problems so that someone will feel bad for him.
