John: Hey Danny, why do Amy and Joanna always go to the bathroom together?

Danny: From what I know, girls go in pairs so they can refresh their makeup and glossip.

The act of gossiping, but glossing over important details of the story; often used in professional setting to avoid detection by the higher ups of "spreading rumors".

Person A: "Man, I hate working with Tina. She never gets her work done on time and i always have to pick up the slack."
Person B: "You didn't hear it from me, but the bosses MAY have said that SOMETHING is going to be happening to SOMEONE soon, and they arent going to be happy about it...if you catch my drift."
Person A: "ahh, thanks for the glossip dude, I gotcha."
