They also regulate time zones and anything that has to do with telling the time. They regulate intergalactic time and time differnces in relation to other planets. 6:00 on Earth while 12:00 on Mars or something at the exact same coordinates.

The Department of Time (DOT) sounds like the Department of Transport. Wait it regulates time travel? Well it may be similar I don't know.
