battle time

Battle Time is when a fight too fast for the human eye is slowed down to the viewers level. Think Dragonball, Naruto, most shonan anime. Most acts in these shows are described as fast but to us appear slow or average.

Fan 1: Ha, Frieza doesn't know what minutes are. This fight has been going on for 5 hours more like.

Fan 2: Thats just "battle time", 5 minutes could be 5 hours if you move fast enough. Would you rather they just put a 5 minute clip of sound with the shockwaves like the minute they did back in Dragonball fights instead?

Tupping Time

A time-honored tradition in parts of rural scotland where farmers cut wild and flamboyant designs into the wool of their sheep. It's marked by a 3 day festival in October where local farmers showcase their designs. The festival is often concluded with a parade of the participating sheep and various other performances. Parades can vary widely between regions, however, it always includes an erected dedication to Tupp, the ancient celtic lamb goddess and is concluded with a ceremonious burning of the fattest ewe.

In the more provincial villages, some archaic customs are still performed. One of these traditions is to cover the young brides of the year in sheep's blood to increase their fertility.

I need to dye my sheep soon to be ready for tupping time.
