Shelf Gay

A gay guy who looks similar/ has a similar height/ build/ personality/ category to another gay guy.

If these two gays were food products in a supermarket, they would be found in the same aisle and, depending on how similar they are, the same shelf, due to being virtually the same product.

These gay people will typically have the same guys go for each them, and will often compete for the same guys in return, which typically creates an unspoken rivalry between the two of them.
