When that person leaves or anything you feel heartbroken. Love is where if you guys break up, You cry and cry and cry. You try to stop but it's impossible because you love that person. But that person left you for someone younger then you or someone who is prettier, skinnier, funnier, but the person doesn't realize that they lost someone who truly loved then... The person doesn't realize how much you've cried over them, How much sleep you've lost, How much weight you've lost from not eating.... Love is where the person makes you so incredibly happy... love is where even after they broke your heart you still love them with all the pieces and still want them in your life. Love is where you'll have no contact for a week or so because they are out of town and can't get ahold of you, but then show up to surprise you infront of everyone at your work or school. You'll start crying and hugging them because of how much you missed them. Now THAT is love... Where you love them no matter what happens... If you break up... If you don't see each other for a while... If your together forever... If you think you're in love with someone... never let them go.

The happiness, as well as joy when you talk to the other person, even if its not such a good conversation, you still stay. Even when the thought of leaving your loved one comes into mind, you feel hate towards that feeling. Love is giving someone the power to destroy you, and trusting them they wouldnt do it. I once read somewhere its "to give everything you have, and expect nothing in return". I do and dont believe that statement. Love is giving someone a feeling that you need them.
