This is a phrase used to refer to someone who causes problems. This is said to people who are trouble makers, people who are always stirring up trouble. The phrase comes from the way a baby cries when their cradle is rocked, hence the term.

A person (generally a man) who will dangle the prospect of marriage in front of another person as a carrot to selfishly get what they want. The etymology comes from the word "rock" as a colloquial for a diamond, which are usually synomymous with wedding rings.
Philanderers may be rock teases and vice versa, but they are distinctly separate. One can be a rock tease without being a philanderer. This happens when both people love each other, but are unable or unwillign to commit themselves to marriage. And philanderers may not need to dangle the carrot of marriage in front of the other person.

A Combat Rock is a individual of free spirit. A person whom is highly unique and with a joyful attitude that everyone loves to be around. They live to their own wishes, beliefs, expectations, and unconstrained by society's bullshit. A person whom can throw mad Van Wilder parties with heaps of hot bitches. Someone who is also very tan, and loves Cold Rock ice cream.

A former white rapper who a few years ago decided to appropriately go more rock with a slight tad of country. He often calls it southern rock, but it isn't. It is "blue-collar" rock mixed with a little hip-hop and occasional country and has a distinct Michigan flavor to it.
