Term coined by GodLogic Apologetics. It is a thing Muslims do when they get caught in a lie, false statement, or fallacy. They immediately change the subject in order to hide the fact that they just got caught.

Muslim: The Bible is corrupted
Christian: But the Quran says many times it isn't.
Muslim: Let's talk about the Trinity.
Christin: here comes the Muslim shuffle.

Ashkenazi shuffle

An Ashkenazi shuffle is when someone employs high verbosity and obfuscative language in an attempt to bewilder or confuse their opponent in an argument. It can involve using complex language, irrelevant details, or tangential arguments to divert attention from the central topic or to make it difficult for others to follow the discussion. It can be perceived as a form of intellectual manipulation, aimed at gaining an advantage in a debate or discussion, often characterized by a style that resembles a rhetorical dance, where clarity and directness are intentionally obscured. Especially in a way that the user deems to be characteristic of a Jewish person.

fern shuffle

This is the way to walk amongst ferns in the forest as to not make any sound or rustling to alert anyone or anything that you are there. It is done by using the outside of your leg and ankle to push or “swish” the fern to the side while taking a step forward, alternating legs to keep yourself walking forward. This allows you to see and avoid twigs or other things under the fern which may cause a sound to be made.

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend at the cabin so I did the fern shuffle all the way there.

Astoria Scuff

Similar to the Middle Village Special in which you are from place A, and you act a fool in place B. But people with too much time on their hands decide its time to place you under citizens arrest and waste 3 hours of the day on cops that will let you go anyways.
Astoria is super gentrified and nothing happens in Astoria, so the Astoria Scuff is infinitely frustrating due to the fact that it takes around 7 years and an angry facebook post in order for you finally go home.

Your Buddy; "Man, I thought I could pull a Middle Village Special last night, but I ended up in a prissy neighborhood, so it ended up being an Astoria Scuff instead."
You; "Fuck, how did you get out of it?"
Your buddy; "I just waited, I guess. Felt like 12 years."
