A slogan that Portlanders say because Portland Oregon is "weird" because it's very progressive, has a lot of hippies, is a place where most people are very chill, free, and accepting, and has a lot of cultural things like a lot of people who ride bikes instead of driving, get tattoos, the art focused culture, events like The Naked Bike Ride, The Naked Goddess Swim, etc.
Portlanders kind of feel like Portland is slowly becoming not as good as it was before and kind of becoming just like other big cites because of things like so many outsiders moving there and becoming sort of an exploited tourist attraction because outsiders think it's so qUirKy and wEiRd, housing prices rising, gentrification, and construction of a bunch of weird giant condo buildings that everybody hates and thinks are stupid.

They compete in the northwest division of the western conference of the NBA. They joined the NBA in 1970. The team won the NBA championship back in 1977. The team plays their home games at Moda Center. Notable players on the team include Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharp, Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija, and Donovan Clingan. The team is coached by Mr. Big Shot himself, Chauncey Billups. Even though the team hasn't been good in recent years, they are still a well-supported franchise. Which is saying a lot since they don't play in a big market.
