Edgy

The internet commonly used the word edgy as an insult, and they still do to this day. The most common definition of edgy is "trying too hard to be cool", but it is also used for "dark and violent" by some. (I personally prefer "dark and violent" but to those that hate that vibe probably think I’m just "trying too hard to be cool".)

(For the common definition) Bruh, you see that one animator with the shadow lady character? She's so edgy. I hate her.
(For the less common definition) Man, this vibe is really cool, love that edgy stuff.
