Pronounced "dig-it". US Navy slang for someone who "digs" the Navy, usually an insult. Often preceded by some sort of profanity. Digits are commonly seen with "digit tools" (leatherman's) and a flashlight on their belts, even if they never use them. Junior digits are usually ass-kissers, while senior digits generally cause their guys to work late.

Dude, Jones is such a fuckin' digit. Look at those creases in his uniform.

Digit duping is the act of Tricking another person into giving you their phone number or personal information under false pretences.
mostly prevalent among gay men towards straight men or straight men towards very attractive co-workers of the opposite sex.

I just Got digit duped by this guy, he said he was a modeling agent, he wont stop sending me winky faces and naked pictures!
