Wench Bench

(Used in the context of the Viking Table).

A gathering place for women who are either associated with, related to, or attached to a member of the Viking Table. Ordinarily, it will be a wooden, metal or plastic bench in the same general area as (though not considered part of) the Viking Table. Discussions at the Wench Bench, while determined by its occupants, are generally centered around topics of feminine interest and would be of little interest to men at the Viking Table.

Horst, if you mention Oprah Winfrey at the Viking Table again, you'll have to join the ladies at the Wench Bench.

welder's bench

Often used to describe an exceptionally ugly face. Reminds us of the pitted, uneven mess formed by molten metal dripped by a welder onto his workstation.

Fuck me, I'm not tapping that she's got a face like a welder's bench.

An athlete that does not get playing time and when someone asks them what position they play they jokingly say "Left Bench" because left is a common position title.

"Yo Tom what position do you play?" " Oh I play 2nd string left bench."

The bench designated for boyfriends to sit on, usually outside a fitting room, while their girlfriends shop and try-on clothes.

Mark: Dude, I hate shopping with my girlfriend.

Ron: Let me guess...she makes you go store to store and hang out on the boyfriend bench.

steam bench

A steam bench located outside of the dorm Read at Indiana University Bloomington. It is a spot to get extremely ripped with your friends, but be careful because tons of cops lurk there at night looking to feed on young, innocent college boys and girls.

Brendan: I just picked up a gram from curry 2!
Jared: Where should we smoke it?
Eric: Lets go to the steam bench!
Alex: Thats a great idea, hopefully officer Dan doesnt catch us
