A name sniper is a person who takes rare names like "Hello" "Bob" "Fan".

Usually done in popular games.

Name Sniper: Hey Sam! I just name sniped a name!

Sam: What was the name?

Name sniper: It was fan.

A person who, while in reality is meek and cowardly, takes out his or her adversaries via long distance internet pop shots

A bot created by douchebags that uses aimbot that nearly whipes out the entire team, commonly found in TF2 casual servers.
They leave before they get kicked, and then join the game again only to terrorize them again.

Phone Sniper

Someone who constantly watches their phone, waiting for a text or social media update to pop up in which they'll like and/or comment within seconds. The only time a Phone Sniper doesn't text back immediately is when he/she doesn't want to.

Phone Sniper: Hey

Dude: That was fast, you phone sniping me?
