immy bus

Short for "immigrant bus."

It refers to the cheaper buses usually frequented by immigrants throughout American cities. The term is mostly used by people in the Northeast, but especially in New Jersey. Immy buses, unlike other larger buses like the NJ Transit, are smaller, more common, and non-airconditioned. Immy bus drivers rarely, if ever, speak English.

Immy buses do not stop at every stop. They will only stop if someone is waiting at a stop or if one passenger on the bus screams "Next Stop" or "Siguiente Parada."

Molly: "Do you see any buses coming?"

Trent: "Yeah but it's an immy bus. It's too fucking hot in those."

Molly: "Yeah but the Transit won't come for another hour so let's just get on"

Proteins that specifically recognize and help combat viruses, bacteria, and other invaders of the body. Immunoglobulins are made by cells of the immune system called B lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.
