A racial slur for people of Arabic and Middle-Eastern origin. Describing the fact that they generally live in areas with a lot of sand.

Skip Dweller

Someone who rummages through 'skips' (aka dumpsters) for useful items. Can also be used to refer to anyone who looks through a pile of discarded material for hidden treasures. Shortened sometimes to 'Skippy'.

Green Ghetto Dweller

There’s bringing a knife to a gun fight - and then there’s bringing an Android to an iPhone group text. That one friend or relative who turns what would otherwise be a beautiful blue iMessage experience into a half-assed (and limited to 10 participant) green colored piece of shit. They must live in the ghetto ‘cos their mama couldn’t afford to buy them an iPhone, or maybe it’s still on lay-a-way at K-mart. This mofo might still have to hit 4 two times and then again three more times just to say “Hi”.

Derogatory term for land lubber, used by the cruising community to show distaste for the perfectly curated life on land with no highs and lows.

A dirt-dweller will never appreciate the beauty of little things like sunsets and time with friends as much as a sailor. Part time cruisers are part time dirt dwellers.
