An insulting name for any scene or genre of music that is of below average quality. Usually used in regards to various hardcore offshoot styles.

New Jersey has a pretty active medio-core scene these days.

Based on the Y2K style of showing your underwear or thong, and "Wedgie Core" is slang for that.

However, it's also a form of bypassed clothing which is against the Roblox TOS and a style most people hate for being too sexy.
