The ancestral town of a person in Nigeria, usually with a family compound associated with that lineage/family . In Nigeria It is possible not to be born/raised in your hometown. 3rd generations still claim where parents/grandparents were not born as hometown.
My home town is Oyo, but I was born and raised in Lagos
