The ancestral town of a person in Nigeria, usually with a family compound associated with that lineage/family . In Nigeria It is possible not to be born/raised in your hometown. 3rd generations still claim where parents/grandparents were not born as hometown.

My home town is Oyo, but I was born and raised in Lagos

Bubbling

Slang: Used almost formally among Nigerians, used to express liveliness in a place or neighborhood

Broad Street is always bubbling on Fridays, because of the new night club.
My area is always bubbling on New year eve

Nigerian English- Used informally to speak continuously and annoyingly on what someone has done or said that is not acceptable to you.

He raked for me last night for driving out his car without his consent

Nigerian English-Used informally to report someone who takes an issue personal. Usually used in both English and Pidgin expressions.

Why are you pressing control p on a small issue like that?
