They are not phased by losing other friends who talk shit about you. THey defend you to no end. A best friend is the person you have inside jokes with. They know you well enough to know how you feel. And you should be scared about that, very scared," atleast one time. They know when to step up and say something when you're sad, and they know when to keep distance and let you go about grieving.
