Wheaton College

1. A $41,000 per year sleep away "highschool" consisting of wealthy and extremely spoiled collar-poppers who credit themselves with the "Wheaton College Honor Code" and being intelligent, when in actuality, students know little to nothing except the latest trends.

2. Wealthy finishing school retreat where drugs, i.e. coke, are more important than attending class and the cutting edge "pop" three collars.
Person A: I can't believe I have to ski down the slopes during Wheaton College's winter break with my regular I-pod while my friends ski down with their I-pod nanos

Person B: Word.

Bridgewater State College

Bridgewater state College is basically Bridgewater Raynham College.. nothing more than an extension of BR. If u pretty much slacked off your whole High School Career, well BSC is ur college. Just tell everyone you always planned on being a "Teacher"

your mom goes to college

one more wonderful instance of U.S. pop-culture hivethink. may puzzle anyone over the age of 18, and will certainly fall out of use within the decade.

*note from entry-writer: I'm a mom, I go to college, I love Napoleon Dynamite, and I had never 'til today heard the phrase used in conversation.
kid one: (blahblahblahblahblah) kid two: Your mom goes to college! kid one: ?!

transfering college credits

it is amazingly difficult to transfer credits. Out of genuine concern when picking a school, go where your interests are, since "it's easier if you never have to 'return' credits than to fight with the receipt." info that truthfully support this claim includes:

1. If at your original school, you took ellective credits such as art, you are a bit screwed. "Art credits" --foo-foo! When you transfer, "Real" schools don't want them and you will probably stay in college longer.. costing more money.

2. When you are going to have to reveal that you're changing plans, colleges don't like students who don't know exactly what they want or students who have been stringing them along and they aren't stupid, they can see right through you.

3. If the school you transfer to is even a tad more expensive, (sometimes, there are transfer fees if not, what is said after this is still very applicable,) then even if the credits transfer, you could be paying thousands extra a semester for nothing.
I thought I was slick when I went to GENERIC Unniversity when I got instate for claiming I loved Sculpting.. I thought I could get my foundation credits and save money by transfering college credits. I was wrong and I know make sculptured center pieces for the Olive Garden.

Sterling College

A small private four year college in Sterling kansas. The school is extremely run down and poorly maintained by its one or two maintenance personell even though the school has a very high tuition. The students never get to see their tuition money go back into the school whatsoever. The school also likes to fine its students for any possible infraction that they could possibly find. The school is not only a college but a babysitting service as well, its a very rare babysitting service though because they aren't babysitting children but 18+ college students. Students have very strict visitation hours with students of the opposite sex and when with the opposite sex during said visiting hours must have a shoe in the door. if no shoe is present a 200 hundred dollar fine and community service will be issued. So if you are a future college student looking at their options do not go sterling you will be miserable and out 25 grand.
bob: hey man do you think i should come to sterling next semester?
tim: Hell no man, sterling college is a rip off. Don't let those swindlers get ahold of your hard earned money. go to a REAL college
