True Emo

Indie Rock or even some Alternative Rock that focuses on more melodic and a less chaotic style. Not to be associated, confused or perpetuate the Emo fashion style/stereotype that has appeared with the mid 2000's influx of perceived emo bands such as My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, AFI and Panic! at the Disco. True Emo would also be considered as First or Second Wave Emo.

emo kid

i see all these people bag on emo kids and in truth if they ever get stuck in a hole then they can tell how it feels to be "emo" YES I AM EMO. the whole clothing thing is another way to show other emo people that they arent alone because inside every emo kid as much as life does suck and as much as some do cut (i dont myself) everyone wants to know they arent alone. alot of things can make someone emo and most have been pointed out but unlike most of the jerks who try to bring me down i know how to be a man and let other people live their lives accepting that we are all different. just because i want to wear make up and tight girls jeans why do i deserve all the hate that gets put on emo kids? i know this isnt much of a definition but to anyone who reads this try to understand that we cant help who we are inside.

EMO KID: im just sad thats all
GIRL: i want to hug you
EMO KID: eek get her off of me!
GIRL: you get me all excited then you shoot me down!
EMO KID: ok you can hug me.......but only for a second or two..

Emo is a cross between a goth and a punk. Punks generally wear tight jeans and chains where goths tend to wear lace and have long black hair covering their faces. Emos have all of these. Emos are often misunderstood, they are associated with suicide and self-harm. Emos are the bravest, they dare to see the world for what it is and don't try to cover up the real evil with figments of their imagination. Did anyone ever think that the reason why they lock themselves away is because everyone is always bitchin about them? Emos dare to be different, and as for that emosexual crap the dude who made that word up can go and f*ck themselves!

Stacy: OMG look at that wierd emo kid over there she is soo strange.

Lola: Actually stacy i think its a boy, "Hey emo kid go slit your wrists you are an embarrisment to the world"!

Misunderstood emo kid gets upset and goes home, the girls think they have gone home to sulk and cut themselves but they are really planning their revenge......

Emotionaly unstable teenager, predominantly white, wears tight, black, clothes. Listen to Emo music (duh). Crys a lot. Hair usualy died black. Most slash there wrists and complain about life.

Josh: "Fred, I dont get why everyone hates me I am going home to cry."
Fred: "I will go with you, lets cut ourselves too."
Josh:"Ok, Lets go."
