Skatergate

(n.)- The fan controversy that surrounds a ska band changing their sound and moving away from the genre. Often seen as a betrayal by ska fans and usually engenders accusations of "selling out".

The No Doubt Skatergate controversy enters its seventy-first month as ska fans continue to demand a reinstatement of horns and guitar upstrokes into prominent positions within the band's sound. Frontwoman Gwen Stefani declined to comment.

Skater's Foot

An unfortunate side effect of skating and/or skateboarding: The foot becomes sore and may cramp up. This is more common in first time riders. It usually will go away after your foot gets used to skating.

A hugeeeee tool bag! If you were to open a tool box a skater fuck would be the biggest one in there. Skater fucks love going to the skate park and dropping in! That's what the live for. -does not acknowledge old school or the different kinds of skating like freestyle or vert

-stereotypical skater social media aesthetic or screen saver theme
-butt boards
-skates to impress girls or boys
-says they can kickflip but can't when you ask because "injury" or "new shoes haven't broke into yet"
-the board they have had for a while and ride has absolutely no razer tail, marks, coned/ wheels, and/or grinded down trucks
-no ollie marks
-collects vans does not skate them
-dresses like stereotypical skater but is not connected to the culture
-rushed progression
