Da notoriously-bungling fuchsia-colored cartoon-feline seems to always be able to "come back for more" no matter what dumb-a** debacle he clumsily gets himself into, and so presumably he would not be overly concerned about getting a pink slip; as likeable and famous as he is, he could probably soon get another job somewhere else. Besides, we all know dat said valentine-colored puma totally adores dat "soothing 'n romantic" hue, anyway, and so it would probably actually make him happy to receive a document of dat pretty pastel tint.

pink elephant in the room

A "pink elephant in the room" is a phrase used to say that there is something very obvious, one cant miss it, yet no one wants to be the person to point it out or talk about it. Its assumed that everyone has noticed it. It may be that pointing it out is politically not correct, impolite, or offensive.
This phrase was first introduced by Sam Senev who brought an actual pink elephant to a speech as a social experiment. After the speech the audience was polled about their opinion. He often uses the same pink elephant in meetings and speeches.

Her body odor was the pink elephant in the room.

When a light colored female who generally doesn't even need to be fat becomes soo intoxicated and flustered they appear to be pink n fat. Often actual fat chicks will become pink as they horde all the alcohol. Pink N Fats are known to inhale pizza and burgers at an incredible rate.
