Bogie

A low work cart or trolley that works fine on dry, hard, and flat ground but turns into a complete nightmare as soon as the terrain gets wet or soft — wheels sinking, grass twisting around the axles, stones jamming, metal rattling — not a cart made for a bog, but one that behaves like one.

The term apparently comes from XIXth century worker slang and survives today in railways, where a bogie is the wheeled frame mounted under a rail vehicle to carry loads and guide motion; depending on the design, a railcar may typically have two bogies per car or share them between cars.

“By the time the rain hit, they’d been hauling hogsheads all day for people who’d never touch a barrel in their lives. The grass snarled up the wheels, the cart locked solid, and someone muttered, ‘Leave it — the bogie’s had it.’

Booger Attack

It’s when you wake up and you’re coughing and you’re smoking pot and drinking coffee and all of a sudden, a surge of boogers fled your nose and you’re looking for something to blow your nose on your wiping your nose on your hand and all of a sudden you flick a booger on the wall and then you go to move and you see all these spots on your wall next to your bed and you realized that you’ve suffered several booger attacks in the last decade that that’s when your boogers start flooding and run out of your face and you can’t find a Kleenex so you wipe it on your hand and flick it on the wall and then you have a booger attack on your wall that you have to wipe off before you move out

I had a booger attack this morning while I was coughing and smoking weed and drinking coffee
