A person that chooses to join the easier side in a casual video game (generally first-person shooters) - either the easier side of a map, or the side with the overall better teammates (usually both). This results in whitewash scores and players leaving from the underdog side in droves, often killing the server.

Nerd joining DTK server on 'Counter-Strike: Source': "Ah yes, good to see the usual stackers on CT side Nuke off the bat"

- 10 minutes later, server goes from 32 to 18 players and score is 7:0

In gaming- used to describe multiple, consecutive attacks. One has stacked the attacks. Or to denote that one has piled the opponents in a stack.
