lamb stew

A sudden bout of incontrovertible diarrhea, most often suffered by a lone bushman with poor culinary agency. Old Australian slang, still used in parts of New South Wales - a minor cultural phenomenon in the earlier part of the twentieth century due to references contained in the bush poetry of Henry Lawson popular at the time. With no known cure for dysentery existing at the time, this particular colloquialism had a sinister connotation since lost with the adoption of greater methods of preserving hygiene.

Lamb Bananas are sculptures of different sizes dotted all around Liverpool. The ones in the street are about as tall as people. They have the head and feet of a lamb but derriere of a banana. Each one is different, different designs and patterns on them. Lots of different people have painted each one. They look beautiful, unbelievably creative and so suitable for the capital of culture 2008 (Liverpool).
