A word that implies someone dressing a certain way is doing so to trick people into thinking they're the opposite gender.

The term stems from anime communities, a genre which often sees a trope where a character dresses up for this sole purpose.

It is considered a slur by transgender people, as it's often used as such against them by people who inexplicably are afraid of transgender people. This is due to the implication that they're doing the same thing to attract and lure others, and thus need to be avoided.
