radical

An adjective used to describe today's children's view that childhood is essentially defined by the amount of screen time spent watching YouTube on a smartphone, emphasizing a belief that digital engagement is the core of youthful experience — even though to those born from older generations, childhood is highly associated with reading physical books (like comic books), playing outside, and drawing.
Some kids have a radical perspective, thinking their entire childhood revolves around screen time, as if every moment not spent on YouTube is a moment wasted!
