ticky tour

Going from one destination to another, without using the intended route. Namely, being lost but not admitting to it when you finally reach said desitnation. Can be used in terms of transportation and general incompetance.

Person 1: "Where the hell have you been?"
Person 2: "Sorry I'm late, I had to go on a ticky tour."
