Decade Delusion

Basically anyone (mostly 1980s and 90s kids but not all of them) who deludes themselves and thinks that the past decades they grew up in were a lot better than the current decade they live in now despite a lot bad stuff still happening in those past decades.

90s kid: I hate today! I miss the late 20th century so much! 80s and 90s forever!

2000s kid: When will you overnostalgic people learn that EVERY decade has bad things happen in them? Were you not old enough to notice the AIDS epidemic, the Lockerbie bombing or the eruption of Mount St. Helens which killed 57 people?

Or how about in the 90s if you were even aware of the Bill Clinton sexual misconduct allegations, the suicide of Kurt Cobain, the Columbine shooting, the Oklahoma city bombing or the rise of teen pregnancy?

90s kid: Yeah, but the music back then was SO much better!

2000s kid: At least I grew up in a time where I was able to access my favorite songs and albums faster thanks to the internet. I swear most of you 80s and 90s kids suffer from a serious case of decade delusion.

Life Decision

When you make a bold or, overall, bad decision that could have the potential for a good or bad outcome. For example, people can move or flee to other countries and that can turn out good or bad.

'Fredrickson moved to the US. He got badly shot for a crime he did not commit. That was a bad life decision.'

Frequency Delusion

Playing off the name of a cognitive bias, frequency illusion, where instead of seeing something all the time after people first notice it, they see whatever is on their mind everywhere they look. Like reading between the lines and assuming there’s a nazi message or some kind of hate speech embedded somewhere when there in fact is not.

“Every time I use a jigger in a cocktail recipe, that tranny thinks I’m calling shim the n-word!” “Typical frequency delusion right there!”

Horrible Life Decisions

Decisions a person makes(big or small) that are just categorically stupid.

Roommate A: 'Sorry roomy, I got a little drunk last light and spend the rent money on strippers.'

or

Person B: 'Guys I'm gonna come clean here, I voted for Bush'

or

Friend C: 'It's bad enough that you bought a Hyundai Lacey, but you just had to get one in big bird yellow. Those were some horrible life decisions, gotta tell ya.'

White People Time Delusion

The White People Time Delusion is a common condition among white people. Some will say that they will start running on Black People Time, but this is not correct.

Usually under this affliction, white people will arrive at WHATEVER THE FUCK time they want, even if the time they are to arrive on is very important. For example, a graduation, funeral, party, their own fucking funeral, you name it.

Also, white people will commonly be angry at YOU for being mad at them for arriving at whatever fucking time they please.

To note: No. They are never just "five minutes away." That is part of the delusion.

"It's 3:30... Mom just got here. She has to have the White People Time Delusion. She was supposed to be here at noon."

A God, or Godlike/absolute being. Someone superior to you; an immortal force that cannot be perceived and/or compared to the trivial entity you are. Decestation cannot be explained or analyzed by any humanistic intellect.

the skill or attribute of an individual to make quick decisions that create a complete disaster for anyone having to implement or deal with the outcome of those decisions.

It would be nice if he got to feel the pain from his own decisivemess once in a while.
